Hello All,

That time of the month again - Hants pub meet, 11th August at the Cricketers in Eastleigh, directions on the Hants Scoobies website: in the pub meets section

Meet from 7.45 onwards, if the weathers good then probably in the garden again, if you're wondering what we all look like here's a brief idea :eek: ;):D

If the car park's as busy as it was last time, we're going to have to think about coming up with another pub - so get your thinking caps on, I'll be taking suggestions :cool::)

...oh, and also for the "Christmas (Scooby)Do" only 98 shopping day's 'till Christmas! ;):D

(and don't forget the Portsmouth Cruise on Friday :cool:)

Usually meet at the Eastern Road(N) Shell Garage off the A27, then pick up any stragglers at Segensworth/TGI's. :D

Ihave an idea for a pub we could go to, but its a bit out the way.
I was lucky enough to have to go to billingshurst to pick up my downpipe and the 272 is one wicked road, loads of twisties™ and a fair few 70mphs, lovely, bout 45 mins away I think...?
anyhoo, only pub I know in the area is the onslow arms but that part is negotiable...

just a thought I thunked...

I liked the ribbon's too :) Mum's idea - she's a florist so did all the flowers etc. and got special satin ribbon so it wouldn't damage the paintwork! :cool::)

Anyway - thanks Peanuts, if we make a list I'll give them all a call and see if they mind their car parks being taken over (some pubs are a bit funny about meets IIRC) and if the car parks are big enough and we'll take it from there :)

Oh yeah, sorry that was also the point, their car park is quite big, but theres a tourist car park there cos its adjacent to the canal :D

Cool, I work just down the road from the Cricketers and finish work at 19.00 on Monday (11th). As long as I dont have to work on...I will be there!

I guess i should really make an effort if i got any fuel left from USC :D

Looks like I am going to be working that night so will not be there :(
