Hi there, can anyone tell me the bhp, 0-60 times etc for the RB5? Thanks! :)
|
0-60 was around 5.5 secs for the none wr version, this had 215bhp, the wr version has 237bhp (250bhp when running super unleaded fuel) and 4.9 secs to 60.

The stats are the same as a standard UK car ...or a UK car with a PPP if its a WR your looking at.
Tony are you saying that a PPP will make 13bhp just be changing from UL to SUL ???,Id say it was more like 3bhp. Andy |
The ecu is designed to run 97 ron fuel, by putting 95 ron in it decreases the power significantly, the 97 ron fuel rating gives 250bhp (mine on a rolling road pushed out 249bhp so its pretty accurate ;))

My standard WRSport is always run on Optimax. It made 247bhp last time it was on a rolling road.
|
Mine made 254, totally standard WR. Sold now though :(
|
Cheers for that, thought that but wanted to double check! :D

mine made 255bhp @ 6350rpm & 246lb/ft trq.

Chaps,
Just picking up on the difference in petrol and the effect it can have on bhp ... in the SIDC True Grip magazine when comparing the UK300 PPP on 95 and 97 RON fuel the figures were .... 230PS vs. 245PS power 245.6 lb ft vs. 261 lb ft torque I know this is a new age car and may differ slightly but the 13 bhp difference may not be too far away. The RB5 WR is a cracking motor, IMHO the most rounded car of the classics ... Cheers Phil UK300 PPP |
