I keep hearing things that GT4 is going to contain the "used car" section that appeared in GT2 but was missing from GT3. The used car section has been confirmed but none of the motors to be included have - but I've read in a few sources that loads of 80's / 90's hot hatches are going to be included - stuff like 205 / 309 GTi's, RS Turbo's, Cosworth's & Audi Quattro's.

Does anyone else know anything about this?

is that PS2 rendered or SGI rendered screenshots ?

won't matter - it still isn't going to have any damage modelling -
use your brakes or bounce 120mph off a wall - u decide

Marc :(

the 'real driving simulator' my arse

shame cos its a damn fine game apart from that.

Whilst some dmaage would be nice I reckon the game would be impossible for mr average tom play if it had real pyhsics(sp) damage engine in it, one reasonably fast shunt and its gameover.

Alsothe fact that some of the manufacutres Merc and a cple of other I belive said they didnt want the developers to damage thier cars in game so rather than have a few cars that didnt show damaged they saved loads of time and money by dropping the damage alltogether.

I remember them saying in an interview they could get approval from the manufacurers (lots of games have it as a feature now) but to do it accurately would be too intensive on the processor(s)

I agree with the above comments though - its sorely missed from the Gran Turismo series - the sooner they get it in the better.
