Hello everybody!!!
As most of you do, I also download a few programs from the Internet, but there is one that up to today has resisted to work correctly on a CD, and this is the Navigation software for our Satellites systems in the car.

I have a VDO Navigation system fitted to the car, and have downloaded many Teleatlas files and also many VDO and Navtech, I have burned them onto many CD’s many times, and once inserted into the computer of the satellite, they just get ejected saying that there is no CD there, of that the CD is not valid.

I have read that your suppose to burn these CD’s very slowly in order for the Burn to be perfect and this I have done, I also don’t use Re-Writable because I believe the Nav computer can’t read these, and to be honest I’m a little fed up of burning CD’s and having to throw them away after would.

My question is… Have any of you successfully been able to download this kind of software and install into the car later, and if you have is there something I could be doing wrong?
Nearly all these file come in images so I do burn them with CD-Clone.

Thanks in advance if anybody can help, and I’ll be looking forward to your replies!!

Have you spoken to VDO ? Maybe they know how to make it work.

Cheers

I don’t think VDO would be very happy if they knew I and many other users are downloading SAT NAV software with out using our credit card ;)
