Now I imagine you are trying to use GPRS with WAP.

Best you call the service number and get it activated first. Our business phones certainly do not come with this activated.

If you think it is going to enhance your WAP "experience", you will be dissapointed.

Dave - I've been using WAP for 4 years, does all I want it to do and its ideal for me to pick up hotmail on the go

I'm all set up for GPRS - the part I'm struggling with is what I set as the GPRS access point.. 02 helpline are about as technically minded as a cheese sandwich

How do you pick up hotmail on a mobile? I can only set up email on a POP3 or IMAP server, whereas hotmail is HTTP.

Thanks!

Problems with o2 GPRS- On our Nokia 7650, we experienced a "GPRS: Invalid GPRS access point" error when attempting to connect to Tiscali over o2 via their mobile.o2.co.uk APN. If you get the same, this is likely to be caused by one of two reasons - either you have not entered the correct o2 Mobile Web APN settings, or o2 has not enabled "Mobile Web" on your account (in which case, contact o2).

According to o2, when GPRS is enabled on your SIM, it's only possible to have either MMS (Media Messaging) OR Internet-GPRS enabled. You can't have both. This limitation is pretty frustrating, and means you have to make a choice between MMS or Web/email.
