Not going again but did do it back in March, (mum won it in a Daily Telegraph comp....) The multi surface stuff skid control work they do is good fun, also makes you realise just how good ABS, traction and stability control can be. The scoobys were great fun, but watch out for the non servo assisted brakes, these are a real handful and take a lot of getting used to. ( I had a road car without servo at the time, and still found the scooby really hard work) If you're brave (and not likely to get car sick) you can do passenger rides in the back of the scoobies whilst fellow attendee drive, the same with the skid control cars (BMW 330d'd when i did it) The off road bit is probably the least enjoyable bit unless you're into this, although its amazing just what an old Land Rover will do with very little intervention from the driver. Overall good day out, Enjoy. Rgds Neil |
