Went to look and drive an Import WRX estate last night which we are thinking of buying. Few niggles with it and could do with rough costs on how much to fix.
1) Drivers folding mirror does not fold in. Cant hear the motor even working, but the electric mirror adjustment works.
2) Drivers side window switch tempermental and sounds like it keeps trying to go down every now and again when its fully down already.
3) Burning oil smell after a good hard run, drove the auto version last week and this was the same. If its been sitting for about three weeks would this mean the oil has'nt worked for a while. (Would change the oil as soon as I get it anyway)

Everything else was fine and drove great.

Grade A have many of these fine examples and may even have a colour match contact Grade A on 01663 744114. Expect to pay 80-120 plus carriage and VAT

Again could replace the switch via Grade A,as a cheap option though it could me the electric motor; or needs some adjusting

May just be that it has stood still, may have rocker cover leak, or front cam/oil seal. Oil can come from the engine drip onto the manifold/downpipe and make a nasty smell. Take it to a specialist to rile these out, though to replace around an hours labour plus parts

Regards and enjoy the car
