I'm still used to using the old Excel 4.0 macros :o How do you make it record macros using relative rather than absolute references in the VB version ?

Thanks :)

When you press the Record Macro button on the toolbar that appears is the Relative/Absolute toggle. Press this to switch between the two.

Bajie - Nice one, thanks :) Never noticed that :o

No worries DJ

Transition to VBA is not so bad. Been using it since they changed with Excel 5.0. Frustrating to begin with but if you save one of your old Macro's to a newer version of Excel it will convert the code for you. Then have a look at the new code and see what you make of it.

Good Luck :)
