29" holy cow batman!

Davey P 15 July 2003 01:45 PM

thought those wheels looked big

Molds 15 July 2003 02:28 PM

Indeed. It is a monster bike! A normal 26" wheel with tyre comes to about the edge of the hoop on the 29" wheel. When you have two bikes side by side it looks strange :)

JackClark 15 July 2003 10:37 PM

Next to my 24" it'd look HUGE!

Rusty Festa 16 July 2003 05:59 AM

Er, why? Is it a downhill racers bike?

I assume so have a fixed gear or does it freewheel?

Jon :)

Downhill racer's bike wouldn't have any brakes :D, let alone 2 disc brakes!

Molds 16 July 2003 11:23 AM

It is built for use as an XC single speed and I would say is far from suitable for downhilling :) The rear hub does have a free wheel so is not fixed.

No suspension, no the best bike for DH

Stealth 16 July 2003 06:10 PM

PMSL @ DH bike....... ou would end up with a compressed spine and fractured knee caps if you tried taking that down hill, it hurts enough on my Cannondale F series which coinsidently would look like a circus midgets bike next to that thing!!!!
