any rattle snake would be imprezed and steped out of my way...
now the question is: can I take it off without any big harm to its surrounds or shall I just weld it to something? I know there was a reason to have it there in the 1st place, but not every reason is so important. thanks for any advice MY95 UK |
Ive just fitted a aftermarket downpipe. My up pipe shield is loose, flappin about in the wind.
So bttt |
As the name states ---> Heatshield. Mine cracked too. Took it out and got it wrapped up with ThermoWrap to contain the heat so that i don't loose the heat energy to drive the turbine. :) Cheers! keet |
If its broke in the same place as mine did, remove the airbox and 'dab' a bit of weld on there. works wonders :)

Velryba, as said you may be able to weld it up on the car or even off the car (off would be easier). If it is really bad, then i would lag it.
Having said that, i would probably take the opportunity to replace it with an aftermarket up pipe. Andy (legacyTurbs) go see your good friend David. Steven |
Thanking you...

yes it would be the perfect excuse to get the AM uppipe, but as thinking of selling the car, there is no point :(
but thanks all those replys |
