what did u think of the performance and looks interior etc..?

Driven the 105, 120 and 160 ZR.

The 105 is slow, I quite like the interior, despite people saying it's old fashioned. You have to thrash the 105 for any kind of performance too.

iv found that the mates handles better the harder u go into a corner. one thing i hate it the stupid door handles and the cheap looking indicator and light stems!!

one thing is it sound amazing with an induction kit it sounds like an impreza almost!!

Have a look at www.mg-rover.org for plenty of view and opinions on this car... good set of peeps !!

I've driven one and used to own a 218iS 16v (basically a ZR120) and a 200Vi... The interior works pretty well and is comfy, despite lots of people saying it has an awful driving position (I'm 6ft 5ins and had no probs in getting comfy :D).. The 1.4 is a nippy little engine but don't expect loads of power and torque through the gears... (its only a 1.4 engine, but still better and more responsive than most...) It is very tuneable however and there's loads of add-ons for this car that'll make it lots more fun... The build quality generally is good and the bodykit looks pretty cool (if that's your thing) and the good chassis makes it a fine handling hatch...its only a group 8 insurance and has plenty of interior and boot space (it used to be marketed as an alternative to the Focus/Astra etc..) a lot of the mag reviews are written by snobbish/anti-Rover types who would rather it had one of these silly modern twee Toyota Yaris dashboards than something functional and clear..

Try and get the "+" model if u can as the spec is much better and if you can find one with the 17" alloys & bodykit then there's not a lot visually different from a ZR160...

hope this helps...
