why do fat people in paticluar women have to wear tight fitting clothes

Dunno, but nothing worse than a not "fat" but chunky woman wearing tight clothes as if she is slim :(

I wondered this, and one day had the courage to ask someone!!

The answer (for leggings anyway) is that they are comfortable as they "stretch". So although they look tight, they are comfortable and plenty of more give for that extra portion of fries.

If they wear baggy clothes it makes them look fatter. if they wear tight fitting stuff then we can see their fat. Its a lose-lose situation IMO. Which is probably why theres a lot of comfort eating going on. Vicious circle. Its a glands thing.

Must be something to do with most of the hotels having massive cheap "all you can eat" buffets. Some of the big fat uns had mobile wheelchairs to cart themselves round they were that fat!

There is nothing more gross than a fat beer-bellied bloke in a
t-shirt [stretched tight to fit over the huge gut] with his waistband under his gut and the crotch of the trousers all saggy and hanging somewhere round his knees!!

IMHO, the answer is this - women, weather they are slim,tall,short,fat,fit,ugly,mingers,biffers,flagc rackers,bedwreckers,whatever are only interested in one thing - what they look like.

Now theres alot of men about that are mincers/posers/vain ( my brother for one ), but generally a man is less concerened about his looks than a women. This is why fat men just wear big clothes, those skintight vests/tshirts are probly the biggest size available - alot of fat women on the other hand wear big skintight clothes ( well they seem to round here anyway ), because in their minds they want to still "look good", although the exact opposite is true.

I'm not sexist or anything, just the way I see it.

because I think CC was refering to these leggings that fat women almost always appear to be wearing. It minging........especially when you can see all the celulite! You don't seen many fat blokes in leggings, it's more likely to be a massive pair of jeans or as you say grey pi55 soaked, saggy crotch pair of jogging pants.

Most men will metion woman as they are more likely to notice a fat woman than a man. That's just human nature!

Why is it people find 'fat' repulsive then? It shouldn't be taken into consideration when assessing anybody. Why should they be singled out for ridiculing? Some people need to get a life and begin to realise that everyone is an individual and therefore has the right to wear what the feck they like :rolleyes: and no, I am not fat - but even if I was - I would still wear what I liked!!!

Redkop, Why do we find certain people attractive?? It must be down to soming deep seated in the human brain. I can post a picture here of 2 women and I'm sure 99% of the men would be saying "WOW!" about one of them and "NO!!" about the other. It's all down to human nature and that is something you have to accept!

most men would pass over a fat bird for a slim bird, that's why fat birds diet so they can look slim and increase their appeal

because the clothes that "normal" shops sell for "normal people" are too bloody small! Honestly, you'd think this country was populated by anorexic dwarves!

That said, its not nice being really restricted for clothes, comfortable or not. If I ever got to the point where I had to wear clothes that were skin tight just to stop my thighs rubbing together and becoming extremely sore and bleeding then I'd definately try to lose weight!

I am a moderately fat person but I don't care just find fat birds a turn off when all the fat thighs are showing

I keep my gutt covered up as it easily offends

Fat people tend to smell more as I know myself. I lost 2 stone and don't smell no more so that's good
