Hello everyone. Hope you all had a good easter!

I was hoping some of you southern chaps knew any reputable places to get the geometry done on my car? Preferably near Winchester / Southampton.

Thanks in advance,

Jon.

Happy Easter

I took my car to:-

Micheldever Tyres
Micheldever Station
Winchester Hampshire SO21 3AP
Tel: 01962 774437

They charge £18 for just the fronts done - Just turn up. If you want the full Prodrive settings you have to call and book it in. I was very impressed with their setup - Although there is always a wait at the weekend.

Got mine done there! All four wheels for £38. They wouldn't do this on a weekend as they said it would take too long.

If you book it for during the week, they will insist that you are there for 8.00am in the morning, but at least you miss most of the M3 rush hour traffic.

It took an hour, and for less than £40 you can't say fairer than that!!!

Jon,

Agree with Micheldever Tyres.
A33 from Winchester towards Basingstoke. At start of 2nd stretch of dual-carriageway look for junction signed on left.

Follow the signs to Micheldever train station. It should be signposted from the motorway, and it's right next door to Micheldever Tyres!

Hope this helps

Did it make any difference and did they give you a report on what they found and what they changed?

I'll add my recommendation for Micheldever. I had the front sorted last time, the car was much more stable under braking.

I actually spoke with them this morning about getting both ends adjusted, like the previous poster said, they want you in first thing as sometimes the rear takes a while to adjust - they can't do it on a Saturday either http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif

Afterwards they give you a computer printout with the before and after values listed on it.
