I've heard stories about a blue Pug having goes at Scoobs around the A174 area of Teesside (near ICI). Maybe it's actually the above chipped Seat? Pretty quick car! :)

Nice talking to you Gary. Look forward to having some more fun!

Cheers

Mike

It's gonna get quicker, cheers mike. Hope the car is still going well, prob my fave Subaru i have seen in ages.

You certainly gave it a good go, despite you having the drop on me and my missed gear. Nice to see my Scoob storm past you though. Maybe another time?

Cheers

RR 14 December 2003 09:04 PM

What about a red nova, came down the parkway a few saturdays ago and he flew past me, I caught him up pretty quick but couldn't shake him off that easily. Found out that it has a 2l turbo under the bonnet.

there is a blue saxo with a turboon it very rapid

I dont drive a scoob, but know most of you guys are up for a sensible play, nothing to silly. I spotted twice today a silver scoob, gold wheels, going towards Boro and returning towards redcar i think. In was in my works van. I think the first letter of reg was N. I have also seen a really nice black wrx sti parked at Bells on west dyke road in Redcar, also very nice. Also last one spotted was a white wrx sti, j,k,l age type reg. Oh i nearly forgot spotted a RB5 today as well near Hartlepool.

RR 15 December 2003 05:39 PM

Forgot to mention on low boost i am running 260bhp/285lbs ft. Not been on full yet but it makes 310bhp,300lbs ft on full boost. Previous power run to conversion made 202bhp/230lb ft (when i last meet Mike). 1119kg car low boost 260bhp gives me a nice pwr to weight 232bhp/ton. And 225bhp@wheels. High boost 265bhp@wheels. It is in another league compared to its previous state of tune, also fitted suspension kit, and a brembo upgrade. Just getting used to it at the moment, so taking it easy.

If the black sti at bells was a 3door then that could have been my type R, RR thats some serious power you must have spent a fortune on it.

RR 15 December 2003 08:25 PM

Yep it was your car, very nice. Only seen 2 black ones around yours and a black one from the Loftus area, but i think its a older one 92-94 plate i think.

RR 15 December 2003 08:49 PM

What bhp/torque do the "R" put out, what are the performance details. 4wd must be fun!!!

nescoob 16 December 2003 04:17 PM

I haven't had my on a rolling road but I expect something around 300bhp and about 280lb/ft torque, 4 wd and an adjustable centre diff makes it great fun to drive.

RR 16 December 2003 04:40 PM

I get lost with all the diff models, people give the bug eyes a hard time, and i know there slow in stnd form, but i like the way they look. Sick i know. Hope i see ya around. If you see a blue ibiza 20vt with oz super t's and brembo its prob me, i will give you a flash and let you have the lead ( you can have the drop), and make sure you dont miss any gears i dont wany any excuses, and please smile when i come past. (LOL Mike)
