First you'll need some monitoring, ie boost gauge and knock link. I don't have any personal experience with your MY car, so not sure what the boost targets/fuel cut will be set at. They will be higher than standard if you've got a prodrive ecu upgrade though.

Once you've got those two fitted (DIY jobs if you're reasonably competent, but best to get a garage to fit if you're not) fitting and setting up a Dawes MBC and FCD is dead easy. Simply disconnect the line to the boost solenoid and block with a screw, then remove the remaining two pipes connected by the t-piece between the turbo outlet nipple and wastegate actuator. Replace these with the Dawes MBC and suitable length hose. The straight end goes to the turbo outlet, and the rightangle end to the wastegate actuator. For the FCD you simply divide the MAP sensor hose and attach it in line with it.

To setup the Dawes MBC you loosen the locking nut and tighten the device to increase boost, and tightening the FCD will raise the point of fuel cut defend. Depending what fuel cut is set at now you should aim for a defend point approx 1-1.5psi below that(if you attach your boost gauge beyond the device in the MAP line temporarily you'll be able to read the boost the ECU is seeing, rather than the true manifold boost).

A word of caution, fitting both these devices will remove two of the ECU's important safety mechanisms, ie cutting boost if it senses detonation which it cannot control by pulling timing and adding fuel (hence the need for a knocklink), and cutting fuel if the car overboosts significantly(additional reason for boost gauge). Also raising the boost beyond fuel cut means that you may be asking the car to perform beyond the limits of its timing and fuelling maps, in which case the ecu may run too much ignition advance (very likely) and not enough fuel (not as likely as standard maps are very rich). Both of these situations may result in detonation (again, reason for KL). That doesn't mean you can't do it relatively safely with the right monitoring and the best fuel possible to prevent det (optimax minimum, + octane booster to be safe)

Sorry for the length of waffle ;)

Simon
