Any one had any experience with HID light conversion kits?
Are they really worth the money? Cheers |
No experience with conversion kits, but many on here will have, as there was a group buy sort of thing last year.
I Do have Scoobysport's HID driving lights on a classic, and they are the best driving lights I've EVER had........and that includes a rally car with 4 x 100W Cibies on the front! Alcazar |
Absolutely bl**dy marvellous. Best mod I've done to my car for years. Looking forward to October so I can use them again! Just do it!!!

These guys supply the best Hid kits, as fitted to Mercs/Bmw's etc. Made by Phillips, many happy customers from on here after last years group buy. :) |

A friend of mine had an aftermarket kit fitted to his "C" class mercs - Not to sure what make, but they are absolutely fantastic. The light it emits is a pure white one which floods the the road. They also look amazing when you look at them head on. They seem to be much brighter than any factory fit headlights that I have ever seen. He got them from a company called Gericia International, tel: 0208 361 9222 who, I belive specialise in these lights. |
As far as I'm aware Philips do not manufacture a HiD kit, although they sell one with their name on. Nearly all of the HiD kits sold in Europe come from the same source, if you take a closer look at them they are all very similar.
Try www.flosser.com they have some very competive prices and also have the H4 bi-xenon kit Quaff |
