Should plug straight in should it not??

STI3 is pre 98 isnt it??

If not then I have the 92-96 at home..

Basically a variable resistor with a switch on the end stop..

You may have to mount a switch onto the new tb for when the throttle is closed..

wrx is 4 wire, STi is 3...

all i need to know is which one is full throttle e.t.c for each one.

i know ive got to set up an idle position switch aswell, im thinking of the pedal should be easier...

The signal and ground are reversed on the later cars. So for the STi low voltage is closed and high voltage is open.

I have both pin out diagrams if you want them?

Tony.

that would be great, thanks tony...

i have just run into another problem tho. the MY93 loom is different from the 94-96 looms. i am missing of my main loom the following:

CAMshaft position sensor (i got the crank one)
Knock sensor wire
Purge control solonoid (the STi one i belive is under the idle control valve)
crankshaft position sensor (its on another loom so thats OK)

anyone got any ideas???

John, Me and Pavlo wired up the STI TPS onto my 93WRX, Paul took down the wiring in his magic book so he will be able to tell you exactly which wire is what.

I couldn't find it in the first magic book, so will look in the next one

I've been 110% busy in the test lab at work, so haven't been able to look on here for the past week

Paul
