Hi All,
I'm looking to get my hands on a '99ish RSK B4, and will probably be getting one imported from Japan. Most of the ones for sale are auto (tiptronic) - are there any pitfalls using a auto box? Is there any common problems with these models? Anyone any experience (especially in Ireland) with the B4's and importing into Ireland? Cheers! |

IMHO, join the legacyb4 group on yahoo - quite a few UK owners about there (a few on here too).
A good B4 will serve you well, IMHO, but then again I would say that:D |
LOL - gotta love the net:o
Nice one Gareth:) |
Yea I applied for membership on that group - just waiting to be accepted :)
So what do you guys think of the B4 in general? p.s Is there a B4 and an RSK B4 or are they the same? |
:)

B4 is the non-turbo version, it has a 155ps 2.0 DOHC engine. The auto on that one doesn't have tiptronic.
B4 RSK is the twin-turbo version. |
Cheers!
So it's an RSK I'm after....... Anyone know if there's any decent one's knocking around? |
My MY2000 B4 RSK has just gone back to the leasing company, not sure if they have sold it yet - they will only want trade price to move it on.
Manual, 34K miles, Smoke Grey. If you want more info email and i will put you in contact http://www.btinternet.com/~jonwitts/...l_2001_002.jpg Regards Jon |
I always thought that the B4 was just an abbreviation of B4 RSK.
As I understand it the B4 part relates to suspension tuning by Porsche and the RSK stands for Rally Sport Kompressor! But as for owning one :) best car we've had apart from the costly fuel bills! [Edited by B4 Boy (at work!) - 6/26/2003 9:39:11 AM] |
Jon - I'm interested that you found a leasing company that handles imports. Can you let me have contact details (email per my profile if you don't want to post).
Thanks! Gareth [Edited by gareth - 6/26/2003 10:39:49 AM] |
