Urgent advice needed.... Where is this situated and how can I check it?? Suspect pump gone but want to try this first. Also would a failed pump relay give a CEL warning ???

it is under the dashboard.. drivers foot well mounted on a bracket up the top ... sort of at on the door pillar if that makes any sense??

Check for 12v at the fuel pump connector.. get someone else to turn ign on.. as it turns on and then off as the engine isnt running..

Thanks mate. Would a failed relay give a CEL ? As far as I can tell a failed pump doesn't. Just trying to isolate the problem before buying and fuitting a new pump.

no it wouldnt give a cel.

have you checked what the fault code that you have is??
