After only 6,500 miles with my '52' impreza wrx the front tyres have worn down to under 3mm, the back two are over 6mm! They are the bridgestone 215/45/17 tyres, has anyone else had this?? Surely they should longer than that!! Can anyone advise why??

also got a '52' 02 WRX and my inside edges have gone (as have others on here) - middle of the tread is ok and the outer edge has some reduction due to spirited cornering (only sometimes, mainly motorway unfortunately).

I rotated them at about 8,000 miles to try and get the most from them (the handbook says 6000 I think) and the old front ones (now on the rear) are just about shot, trying to get the front ones down now so I can replace all four at once.

The inside edge wearing is a toe-in issue probably, setup that way by Subaru to give a neutral to slightly understeer based ride.

Lots of recommendations on here for geometry setups by TSL/Powerstation and more to help dial this out, improve tyre wear and improve the handling. Also an opportunity to fit some better tyres as well - just going through the decision process myself on which tyres to go for - Goodyear F1's seem a popular choice.

Just to add - I've increased the tyre pressure in an effort to wea the middle of the tyre a bit more to even out the wear a bit.
