Since its a fairly common theme for Subaru owners to be on their second, third or sometimes fourth Impreza, I was just wondering how many of you have previously owned one prior to current one and how the "Evolution" came about. (Excuse my use of that term ;) )

Personally I have owned one previous to my current Impreza.

It was a MY96 N reg WRX saloon. It was Dark Blue Mica (or similar) and had standard gold STI alloys.

I bought my current MY00 last year.

Your thoughts.....

MY 98 DGM Impreza Turbo saloon (owned for 18 months)
MY 00 Mica Red Turbo Saloon Prodrive (owned for 3 years)
MY 03 Black STi8 (soon to be PPP'd)

5 years, 3 cars, 160,000 miles....seems a natural evolution of the species

i used to own an r reg reddish blue wagon with 17' kahn rs-s...i still go weak at the knees when i think about it! you have to see it to understand. now i have a an rb5. lush!

HI had a mint std 95 wrx import, was totally lame especially after having 3 diff, cosworths did nothing for me at all. swapped it for a 94 jap build LTD 0 - 100 wrx sti , oh my G, totally diff car, no, 86 out of 100 built, only for japan,s home market, so far onl 9 in the uk, totallt awsome the mutts, nutts totally hand built by subaru technica international them selves, and no its not for sale , its the best thing ive ever driven cant stop can i sorry off now ,
