Mark Underwood (aka The Wax Wizard) came to spiff up my car today, and I thought I'd post a couple of pictures.

Here's the engine bay before:

And here it is afterwards:

Here's a close up of the block (before):

and after:

And a few "After" shots of the exterior. The piccies don't really do justice to how the look of the car has improved since I posted the last pictures, but it's definatley more shiny!

Can't wait to go for a cruise in it!

:D what a difference!!

J4CKO 19 June 2003 10:06 PM

That engine looks amazing !

Not so sure about shiny tyres but they always tend to look better after a few days anyway, how long was spent on that bay ?

Tim-Grove 19 June 2003 10:06 PM

Bloody hell!! thats one clean motor, what did you use on the engine bay??

Carlos The Jackel 19 June 2003 10:20 PM

Do you think he would fly to Inverness?:D

Stuart J 20 June 2003 05:46 AM

Carlos, Just ask Mark, he seems to go just about anywhere & there is no harm in asking. He tends to plan several jobs on each trip so if timings not important you could be lucky.

Tim,

I believe the cleaner is based on grapefruit juice.

I kid you not.

Grapefruit juice? A mild solution of citric acid!

mkyboy 20 June 2003 11:13 AM

WOW!!!

How much was it? (if you don't mind me asking)
And could i have his number?

dharbige 20 June 2003 11:15 AM

Dizzy,

For the car, or for the valet?

Mark Underwood 20 June 2003 02:19 PM

Fatman...the solution is non acidic. It is extracted from the rinds of grapefruit and oranges.;-)

Nice to see you again yesterday Dave. Rgds to Jane pse.

mkyboy 20 June 2003 03:10 PM

for the valet.

dharbige 20 June 2003 03:33 PM

For service prices - please ask Mark, as he's the guy who did it.
His contact details are here.
The price I payed may be different to the price quoted for you, as the car is relatively small.

However, I will say that you do get value for money!
