Any reports good or bad? am planning to move there int he next month or so? is it scoob friendly, i fear not as every day seems to ba a sunday

One good thing is that it's close to the B158 :D

indeed a very bland place, but the missus likes it & its quite & "nice" ;) the sort of place where people loose the plot & go on killing sprees? what is this place they call B158? willit save me blandness

The B158 will give you much enjoyment, it goes from Essendon to Hertford and ROX !!!!!

Potters Bar has lots of good things about it:

It's quite small so you are soon out of it
It's near to other places
It isn't Watford.

On a more positive note, there's some nice countryside round about.

I used to live round there (Brookmans Park). Potters Bar itself is kind of grim (town centre), but there are some nice areas tucked away. You might want to consider Northaw as its literally just on the outskirts of PB, and your surrounded by the Great Woods (very nice).

And i used to drive down the B158 everyday, from Kentish Lane right to Hertford Heath, awsome road :starts daydreaming:

But now moved to the Cotswolds and i do prefer it here, although, when i go to see friends in Hertfordshire, a de-tour down the B158 usually occurs :cool:
