Nick Young 18 June 2003 10:04 PM

Superb Stuff!

:)

Dougster 18 June 2003 10:07 PM

Nice count Nick!!

Defiant STI 18 June 2003 10:35 PM

It's the "Ultimate" count :D

Seriously though, the series is an enjoyable no brainer but what I can't understand is why the ITV script writters can't come up with better titles. I mean FFS, "Ultimate Force", "Serious and Organised". Who thinks of this rubbish? ;)

Just what I pay my license fee for!!!
If its on ITV, its being funded by adverts :D

License fee is just another tax if you ask me...

It was full of "key words" and all other krap... And why not use the SBS????
And "Grunt" is still the stupid "I want to be lewis Collins"

Piss poor.

It's good and anybody who says different is entitled to their own opinion but we all know its the wrong one.

Does anybody know where you can buy season 1 on dvd ?

Windyboy.

fitzscoob 20 June 2003 04:22 PM

tried amazon.co.uk

???

ozzy 20 June 2003 04:28 PM

Yeah, Ultimate Croc more like

SBS are the proper covert Special Forces. They wouldn't been seen dead portrayed like this. They're the kind of folk to insist any actor actually passes the SBS selection process before being allowed to potray a member of the squadron.

And they're all mad as fish :)

beemerboy 20 June 2003 04:30 PM

class series, yes, take most of it with a pinch of salt, but highly entertaining, just what sitting in front of the box with a cold one, is all about after a hard days slog.

i was lost for words, what a way to start the new series!!!!

...alright, after an easy day's slog...

BB:)

Windyboy - spooky, I was browing Play.com in another window and noticed this link to Series 1:

http://www.playserver5.com/play247.a...2&title=114832

Duck_Pond 20 June 2003 04:51 PM

I watched it pi$$ed up after a night in the boozer and was left a tad shell-shocked in that half the cast are either dead or out of the team!

Still not sure that that Jamie character would be in the Regiment - seems a bit too "soft".

I read that Ross Kemp said it was difficult for him to act as someone who cannot play rugby very well for the role, as he plays amateur rugby in real life. I'd have thought he should have stopped the sentence at "It was difficult to act" :D

Nevetas 21 June 2003 12:06 AM

Tell me your joking. Ultimate FARCE more like.

So unrealistic it's untrue, what a load of old tosh!

Apparition 21 June 2003 12:24 AM

Ahhhhh at last ~ the voice of truth..Nevitas. Well said.
I mean if the radio contact doesn't work in the bowels of the ship then how the hell can the mobile phone ? And other assorted foul-ups too many to list here.
Give me the A Team any day. At least they didn't pretend to be real !

Duck_Pond 21 June 2003 12:31 AM

Farce it may be, but it's amusing.

It would be good to see a return of the 80's style progs, like the A-Team, Airwolf, Dukes of Hazzard (mmmm Daisy), Street-Hawk (ho ho), and Knight Rider... his car is gay .

No PC restrictions. Just silly, entertaining programmes, that fill the gap between Grandstand and going to the pub. :D

unclebuck 21 June 2003 12:32 AM

Ultimate Bollix. Can't believe anyone watches that

fatherpierre 21 June 2003 01:20 AM

Absolute arse.

Sack of sh1t.

Crap.

I'm not too keen;)

AndiThompson 21 June 2003 02:24 AM

Totally unrealistic, far fetched and some dodgy acting at times.

Still a bloody good watch though, chill out, relax and dont scrutinise every single bit guys :p

ADP 21 June 2003 09:39 AM

john_s 21 June 2003 04:10 PM
