Other than using Mcafee etc for firewall and anti virus. What other stuff should be running to protect the computer.

Ad-aware or something similar is always handy to run once in a while to check for spyware etc...

Ive found Ad Aware no longer removes stuff it finds, it tells you it has, but in fact it hasnt

Spybots (do a search on Google) seems to be pretty handy. I run Adaware as well, plus Sygate personal firewall

use PestPatrol from www.safersite.com

i use tiny personal firewall, at home, but dont really know what i'm doing with it, probably locking myself out, and letting everyone else in!!!

i heard it works well though....
