Hows it going?

248SPG 17 June 2003 04:28 PM

Yea not bad although not having much luck with the car lately :(

HAd a nice sheet of metal smash in the front last week on the M'Way and also had the 60K service done last week which cost me over 800 quid!!!!!

Still makes me smile when I drive it though and thats the main thing!!! Hows things your end??

Bravo2zero_sps 17 June 2003 05:27 PM

M8 thats not good, u seem to have loads of incidents with your car!

Things are ok with me, work is going well but too bloody knackered all the time to do anything

You still thinking of getting your bike license?

248SPG 17 June 2003 05:31 PM

Yea looking at doing it Beginning of August as my Dad wants to do it with me.

I am actually thinking of going to look at some Bikes at the weekend so I can work out how much it is going to cost me!!!

Bravo2zero_sps 17 June 2003 05:42 PM

Nice one! What engine size you thinking of getting?

248SPG 17 June 2003 05:57 PM

Was thinking of getting a 400 to start with (providing I pass anyway) as I have always wanted a ZXR400 but a Friend of mine said to maybe go for a 600 and just take easy but I am not sure I could trust myself with that :D

Bravo2zero_sps 17 June 2003 06:03 PM

My personal advice would be 400, its the way I went and they are fantastic fun and you learn loads on them and cheap to build up no claims bonus on.

I think a 600 sports would be too much to start with, a 600 non sports I would say wont be as much as fun as the 400 class sports bikes.

One other thing, I know you are keen on the ZXR 400, just take out a cbr 400, a vfr 400 and a zxr 400 and see which one you like best. Don't both with gsxr or fzr 400's, I toasted them big time on my cbr and didn't rate them at all :D

248SPG 17 June 2003 06:22 PM

Well I will have to decide when I pass my test I suppose but I will have a look at the others this weekend :D

Getting all excited now!!! NEW TOY :D
