enquired about some RS421 pads today and i was informed that although these pads are suitable for fast road, that there is a legal constraint that came into effect (re: vehicles manuf. after sept99) stating that pads need to have the "E" mark to be approved.

The last thing i want is to have these pads and in the event of an insurance claim, someone says "these pads are not approved, claim is null and void."

any comments?

think you'll find that nearly all performance aftermarket pads are without this.......don't know the insurance side, but seen as this compound was originally developed by Pagid for companies like Aston Martin, Ferrari, Porshe, etc. (who all use as O.E. material!!) then i don't see any issue..........
we are the MAIN northern region Pagid dealer so if you need any further advise feel free to mail me direct with any issues......hope this is of help,
