My 16 valve interale is back on the road running sweet and run in  I took it for a test run last night and after 1 mile I got out of the car shaking  I have never done that before :o Here's the story of what happened:

Mufasa 13 June 2003 02:59 PM

Well done mate!
If you want a job done proper do it yourself!

It took me 10 months to rebuild my old Saab after it melted a piston, very satisfying once it all back together and working though

Paulo P 13 June 2003 03:07 PM

Thanks :D I took less time to fix it than a guy that was "supposed" to know what he was doing  5 months to do a re-build then it blew up that quickly I didn't even get out second last night though because it was going so well!

V5 13 June 2003 03:17 PM

This one's a 16 valve as you can see but should be pushing nearer 300 bhp  it's a tad scarey :o

NACRO 13 June 2003 03:39 PM

very nice motor and I imagine that doing the work yourself must be very satisfying.

Paulo P 13 June 2003 03:43 PM

NACRO

I couldn't stop smiling last night :D it has been alot of sleepless nights working out how to do things etc but it worked :D They are a nightmare to work on as you can see.

Paulo P 13 June 2003 03:45 PM

It's undergone alot of mechanical changes and mods since you last saw it  it's got about another 80 or so bhp and paddle clutch etc.

Bob

At least you got there in the end :D
