That funny thing on the roof is the GPRS thingy for rally cars. It supposed to stop collisions with other rally cars as it tells the control centre the exact point of where the car's at. If they get too close to each other or a car breaks down in front of them, then the control centre can inform the team which in turn informs the driver that there's a crash ahead.

Please don't ask me where I get all this useless information from as I really don't know!!! But it's the truth!

As StevieB said this is just the 03 WRC, there is no chance it would look anything like this.

your correct about that thing on the roof Gordon. it is WRC gprs to keep track on the cars while there on the stage. It's how vitual spectator is developed.

all the pics just look like good photoshop jobs to me.
