Is there a program that will take a load of images and make small thumbnails of them for me ? Or is it a case of resizing with PaintShop Pro ?

photoshop and image plus will do this, but a really handy utility is called Batch It! Pro (v3) whcih you can find via google. This allows you to do many things including creating a load of thumbnail images to a given size or % ratio of the original.

Cheers

IF you have photoshop then you could create an action which would resize any picture you have open. I have a little action which resizes the pics to, umm, some small size, then it saves them out as JPEG files. Being a lazy git, I have an applescript which allows me to drang and drop the files on it, it then launches photoshop, calls the thumbnail action, and then generates HTML code for me, and writes it to a file, then opens that file, so all I have to do is copy and paste that into a file on my site, uploaded it, wham, easy peasy :D Told ya I was lazy :D

I used to use a program called Thumbs Plus. Not sure if its still about.

Just googled for it and its still around. IIRC it can make a thumbnail web page for you too.
