I was thinking of treating my 95 wrx RA to an oil and filter change

what grade of oil should i use and what quantity?
any help would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks for the advice,,theres so many to choose from,
i was reading this months fast car mag. and one of the writers is using MILLERS 10W60 in his wrx.
ill have a look around halfords tomorrow!!!

Im running Mobil 1 racing 15/50 about £35 and halford sell surprisingly. my car is a MY94 uk

its a mind field when it comes to oil so many diffrent opinions.
most popular i think would probably mobil 1 15/50. never used it
subaru uk recommend mineral oil 10/40 they say its to thin. ive used esso semi synthetic best of both worlds.silkolene and 76 oils
are highly recommended.my local subaru dealer recommend mobil 1 but then there again there rebuilding at least two engines a week .good luck
