Hi,

I've been told I have to go work on-site at a customers office every other week. The offices are 140 miles from where I live. I was wondering what mpg's I should get sticking to a steady 70mph in my P1 up the M6 - would 20.00 get me there ?

Cheers,
Steve

I would expect 25mpg possibly more if you resist the temtation to boot it at all.
@ 80.9p per litre that would cost £20.60

:D

80.9p per litre where is that ?! It is 71.9p where I am, although I am in the grey counties - Manchester!

u talking about Normal Unleaded, heaven forbid sticking that in a P1 :)

Cheapest Optimax round here (near Manc) is 76p I think

Nope, Optimax near the gym I go is 71.9p at the moment, was 74.9p last week ?!

Brun 08 June 2003 05:53 PM

In which case it's £18.30 for you :D

Thanks Brun,

Although the temptation to be light footed is very difficult !

grnsteve 08 June 2003 06:02 PM

Sorry guys, messed up, it is normal unleaded, reason I got it mixed up is cos I was in my missus car - still cheap though at 75.9p, safeways offer 5p per litre off if you spend over £20.00 in store, 10p off if £50.00 :D
