A lot of people have been saying that L&V won't insure under 30s for a Scooby. I was wondering if it was just certain models like STIs, imports etc.
So has anybody under 30 got insured with them this year? Thanks. |
Yep, me and the missus both under 30,, policy started on 1/5/2003.

P20SPD,
What model Scoob if you don't mind me asking? |
JPR,
My better half and I are just insured with LV as of 31st May 2003. I'm 28. UK Turbo Wagon '97 R(facelift and interior is that a MY 97 or 98?). 17" wheels really bugger up most quotes. Car parked on street, renting, live in Devon £817 fully comp. Hope that helps Mike |
I tried earlier this week for 97 Classic for my 23 year old son - they said NO. (Tracker fitted)
My 01 bugeye quote is £665 (no tracker) Live in Cheshire |
I'm 32, wife is 28. They said no to an STI 8 (Type UK) and I have 12 years NCB!!!
I think it mainly the grouo 20 cars they are shy with, classic turbos(group 17) seem OK. Thats the general impression I get from looking through the threads Paul |
me and mrs, 25 UK MY00
|
Hi,
I phoned last week for a classic MY00, Im 29 and got it for £740 - which I thought was very good, considering my renewal for Adrian Flux was £925. However Greenlight wouldn't insure me unless I was over 30 (temporarily as their underwriters have had to pay out quite a bit recently for some track day write off's apparently). Cheers, James. |
L&V wouldn't quote me (i'm 28) in feb for my 02 WRX.
John |
Just got quoted from L&V on a 93 STI and provided the cars engine capacity doesn't increase then you can mod away til your hearts content. 30, 6yr NCB protected £744. Adrian Flux wanted £1.6K - they can feck off!!!
|
my missus got quoted from them last week for a rb5, but they wont put on my sti7 ppp
