any help please, i am wanting to get the ecu done on my97 uk car & waondered if anyone else has other suggestions other than the PE route, i am sure the product is superb & indeed one of the best ont he market but its just the price tag that i cant swallow at the moment, any suggestions please?

AFAIK PE are the only people who can remap the 97/98 ECU, as they solder in a custom PCB to map it. The only other option is a complete replacement ECU (LINK, Motec, Power FC), which would be more expensive than the PE option.

How about the up-rated Prodrive ecu from a dealer or second hand on the bbs?

Sorry to say Met that I'm stuck in the same no mans land as you. I'd love to know if anyone else does anything.

You could always follow Motomc1and fit NOS but that would hardly be cheap!!
