Wap thing you set up with a download from http://mmsota.vizzavi.co.uk/dms/cm?p...s&VodaLive=yes It sends you a couple of texts with the settings embedded....
(it's wap over GPRS btw) As for 'ring-ring' it's you and the rest of the world looking. It's hard to sit on a conference call when your phone suddenly decides to play 'disco inferno' at you :D If you do find one.. please let all the rest of us know . cheers Steve |

best of them is the single beep- or the croak/froggy one... I used to have the 'knock knock' ring tone on my 8210......wouldnt mind that on the new one |
I have a ringring .wav file that I use on my P800 I think the 7250 can accept those.
Let me know if you want it. |
I have the real-mccoy ring-ring tone on my 7250, sounds just like the one on older nokias except its polyphonic but is still totally "normal" sounding, not botched.
No idea where I got it now, was from some WAP site (and amazingly all the ringtones were free) but if I can work out a way to get it off my phone......! |

Come on Paul Think Think Think!!! I need it Ray |
come on paul ... the boys at work are getting hacked off with 'Disco Inferno' :D

Just ditched my 8850 for the 7250 and wondering the same thing, ring tones are so annoying so quite annoyed at no "ring ring"

OK sorted! Enter this exact address into your WAP browser and it will show "ringtone received" or something to that effect - you can then save it.
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/paul_morgan/ring.mid You can try it in media player etc to hear what it sounds like through your PC speakers though it really needs to be played on the phone. This will only be up for a few days :) |
cool will try it later ... cheers !

Ok been trying on someones phone but I dont know if im doing it currect.
Its a nokia and its on vodafone. Im doing: Menu > Services > Go to address > "entered the address here" > then i'm getting a message "bearer not avalible" What am I dong wrong? |
Thanks Paul, it works a treat!
|
Ray , you have the identical service to me, and mine worked fine . You've set up the vodafone live gubbins, connected to your normal access point with GPRS, then just open the location.

Job Done :).
Thank you very much but my GF wants to borrow my phone again :( |
Phone any good??
Im looking at 7250i next month. Si |
I got mine this week and im pleased with it, but mine is only the 7250. whats the difference between the 7250 and the 7250i??
|
Nokia 7250i Phone The Nokia 7250i phone is an upgraded version of the Nokia 7250 phone. It offers XHTML support for a better mobile browsing experience, plus improved camera functions, enhanced MMS, and inbox covers in exciting new colors. :D Si |
No probs guys, will leave it up a bit longer didn't realise it was so much in demand!
Maybe I should set up a 0891 phone number at £3/call for anyone who wants to download it :D Makes you wonder why Nokia sold the phone with such a glaring omission . Too much influence from fisher-price I guess ;) |
