Getting air in my VW Beetle 1303S over a hump back bridge at the age of 17 :D

Not may people could have experienced that in such a tank of a car, took quite a run up :D

Thankfully I am not so irresponsible now :)

P.S. it cracked the rear 2 suspension struts on landing and that took a bit of explaining to the parents  :D

Probably the most fun was Ibiza in 1995 with a couple of mates. Went out end of season and boy was it party time :D Never had such a heavy week and don't think I ever want to repeat it!

Oh yeah seeing Mansell win the last British Grand Prix at Brands Hatch while being a guest of Jaguar was pretty special. The crowd went mental when he crossed the line and the grand stand was deafening from the excitement! :)

Howling along a French motorway chasing a black RS4 back from Le Mans a couple of years ago. Got to the tunnel it turned out to be J K driving and he came over for a chat :D

matty01 31 May 2003 12:33 AM

Now come on Stephen you're taking the mickey :D ;) (tis fun though eh)

TopBanana 31 May 2003 01:16 AM

I once sampled some gooseberry jam. That was nice, oh yes.

matty01 31 May 2003 01:33 AM

Oh, and sparring with a 2nd dan kickboxer ...ouch (me..not him),
Completing my collection of East Asian 1950's engraved hardwood lolly sticks,

davyboy 31 May 2003 08:22 AM

Being in a new white escort hire car, which had been fitted with a stolen blue flashing light. We did not pull people over for motoring offences at all, nor did we drive up the motorway with the light on.

Dangerous but fun.

matty01 31 May 2003 11:27 AM

jllang,is 'gooseberry jam' a euphamism for something ?? :D

Toonman1 31 May 2003 11:30 AM

Competing in the European Rally Championship back in the early/mid '80s. Being hauled in to see the Bank Manager every few months wasn't sooooo much fun though... :(

Cheers

dazc2 31 May 2003 12:02 PM

matty01 31 May 2003 12:04 PM

MichelleWRX1994 31 May 2003 04:48 PM

Daz takes his dumps pretty seriously as far as I am aware.....he takes great pleasure in informing me about his latest output. :p :D

matty01 31 May 2003 06:47 PM

I can only imagine the sort of lucid detail he must subject you too... "yeah and it was **** *** *** ," the mind boggles...

dazc2 31 May 2003 06:52 PM

Of course! :D I supose satisfaction MIGHT be a better word! ;)

Nothing like having to clean up after leaving the toilet looking like Silverstone's pit straight just after the Grand Prix!! :D

When it gets like that though it would be cheaper to shave the hairs off your ar se than wipe it clean! :D

Sorry! ;)

While living in South Africa, the band that I was in entered a battle of the bands competition, First prize was a load of gear and a chance to play on the last night of a major 7-day beer festival.

You guessed it, we won and on the last night we played to 2500 people who were all up for a good night.

One of the best memories ever except for the birth of my daughter, my wedding day ( ENG 5 - 1 GER ) yes we watched it, pissed!

Not to mention the day I picked up the keys to my first scoob!!!!

Skoosh.

Recently?

Mates 40th Birthday. We hired an adult sized(20ftX20Ft) bouncy castle and had it in the garden. It was so funny I had to run to the loo in case I wet myself.

astraboy 02 June 2003 12:35 AM

honestly?
raving for around 11 1/2 hours non stop in the hardcore arena at Fantasy Island NYE 2002-2003. I lost nearly 2 stone in weight that night. Without a shadow of a doubt the best rave I've EVER been to. Because I thought I was losing my hardcore, but I discovered 5htp and preloaded on it the week before. Talk about rushing my little tits off.
