Please can somebody tell me what i should be setting my fuel pressure to on the gauge on my FSE regulator.

If i start the car up and look at it idling on cold it reads close to 3 bar of fuel pressure

Having got the engine up to operating temperature, this pressure drops to 2.6 bar.

Should i be taking this 2.6 figure up to 3 bar, i.e adjusting the pressure when the engine is hot?

I'm running just over 1 bar of boost

actually - i'm not surprised that i'm not getting an answer to this on a Friday night. See if anyone has answered this in the morning
p.s. GTI -R was right up my ass tonight. Yeah it was fast as hell! I just hope the flames from the zorst warped his number plate - lol.

I know this is irresponsible of me but if any of you impreza owners are running over 300bhp, do us a favour and would you smoke the next GTIR that gives you hassle

First off.. to adjust teh fuel pressure you must set it with the vacumn pipe disconnected from the regulator, this is so you can set it at atmospheric pressure.
Start the car and disconnect the vacumn pipe from the Reg, block the pipe..
If you are running 380cc inj set it to 3.2bar pressure, if you are running 440cc inj set it to about 3bar pressure.
When you reconnect the vacumn the pressure will drop, however the pressure should always read the same at atmospheric.
When the reg is on vacumn it drops the fuel pressure below atmospheric, when it is on boost it raises the pressure above atmospheric.
If you set the fuel pressure with teh vacumn connected you will get about 4bar fuel pressure at atmospheric...

The reason the fuel pressure drops as the car warms up is due to the vacumn getting stronger..
