... dropped car off for service this morning, 30000 mile service, and feel lost:(
Keep looking into the office car park to see if its still there, panic, then remember it is being serviced:rolleyes: Oh well 4 hours and i will have it back:D tick, tok, tick, tok, .... .. |
Good things come to those who wait! She'll be back soon... :)
|
Is it a main dealer service & did you get a loan Justy? :D
|
hmmm .... new oil, new spark plugs, cleaned (hopefully), etc, etc :D
|
no loan cars available as i booked the service late. I kill justys, so good job i did not get one. last time i had one i managed a whole 36 miles on £10 of fuel:D
|
Been without mine for two weeks now since I slid it off the road. Looks like it will be another two weeks until it is back!!!
Not a happy time, the misses 316 Compact seems to be missing something...........ah I know......a decent engine, four wheel drive, turbo...................etc ;) |
Try being without it for months :p
Oh the quest for silly power has its disadvantages :D |
Hope the damage wasn't too bad in the end Chod.
Les :) |
You think you've got problems.
My 2000 Turbo has gone back as a trade in at the dealer against a new STi PPP and I've got to wait until July! The sweetener was an extra £grand on the trade-in but at the moment I'm tottering around in my sister in law's Fiat Cinquecento (I asked her where the clutch was and she said "Lewisham"). Dave |
just think what it would have been like if you had sold it!
Paul |
LOL:D
C, yeah but i think i could put up with the wait for your power;) Paul, i know, unbearable! |
charlie says I can go torch it if I want.. :p
David |
Thanks Les, wasnt too bad.....£2500 damage (Boot lid, spoiler, bumpers, driving lights etc). Glad i got my no claims protected. ;):):)
|
Oi Wallis, keep your hands off;), with my wiring it will probably self torch;):p
Forgot to ask for some new header gaskets, for the next stage of the Red Devil:D Steven |
Chod, last time, and only time, i went off the road, i had a little bit more damage than yours, and was Scoob less for 4 weeks.
Thats how long it took me to find another:rolleyes: Steven |
service wait is nothing....try waiting a week to get a new bumber and rear light put on and the rear wing re-sprayed on an STi8.
i gave Subaru a piece of my mind when the car was returned with some excess speeding recorded on the turbo timer (obviously by one of their guys! ). i mean the culprit in question must have been a complete dick not to know what the turbo timer does. the car only has 3,000 miles on the clock and so isn't quite run in, anyway they said they'd discline the guy and give me a free wax job (for the car) but I squeezed them for a free second service instead.... Free second service is far better, i mean which bloke wants their legs waxing;)
Having been through a 4 week wait while engine is rebuilt on my 1st scoob, and a 4 week wait between no 2 and 3, today still felt like an age. Every time i looked out the window at work, i thought, whos nicked me car. Picked the old lad up at 5 today, and we had a sensible journey home:D Steven |
