Hi All,

Had my first little niggle with the car this weekend so I thought I'd see if anyone else has suffered the same.
On Sunday morning, took wifey and sprog to Stapeley Water Gardens, (yeah yeah, I know), which is aprrox 40 mins away. After exiting a roundabout and gently accelerating away the car started to splutter and I just about kept it going for the next half a mile or so.

It felt a bit strange then, as when the accelerator was applied, nothing happened unless you gave it a good stab.
After a while it cleared up!
That night I took it out again for a run and it did it again, exactly the same?

Any ideas?

Blubs,

The wife has probably put diesel in it!!!!

On the other hand it could be a filter problem, if you fill up at the local supermarket the cleanliness of their tanks is quite bad. I had to change the inline fuel filter on wifeys Punto to cure a similar problem.

Max,

Funny you should mention that, as I spoke to Helen this morning and she stated that she had filled up at the Mold Tesco garage the night before.

Could it be that then? Hmmmm.

Women, you can't live with 'em etc...(oops, sorry Penni and Subie Gal, I didn't mean you two http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/redface.gif)

Blubs,
That is the most blatant bit of crawling I have ever seen in my life. I shall have to report this fawning to your good lady this evening.

Try the coil packs, thats what was wrong with mine and a quick swap sorted it instantly.
