I have finally decided to take my car for a gentle spin (not literally) around a track.

Admiral say that I am not insured for this although they can't show me where in my policy it says this so i think they are bull****ting.

Anyone else any comments or where and how much track day insurance is?

Lee.
Bit of a cloudy area this. Unless your policy specifically excludes track days, then technically you're covered.
It may well mean a battle in the event of a claim, but it's been done before.
It really comes down to personal peace of mind.
As most people know, I had a fairly major off recently. Only cost me my excess though. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

one biker took his bike on a track day and crashed. put in the insurance claim but the insurance company refuse. took the insurance to court and won!

will try to dig out the "small print" how the biker got his case won and post it here.
