I recently bought a bootliner for the scoob which came with a rubber 'anti-slip' mat - really useful but too small. I want to get a couple of bigger sheets of the stuff for putting between the mountain bikes when I carry them in the back but haven't a clue where from.

It's made of a mesh of soft, grippy, padded rubber squares. Looks like this:

Anyone know where I could get similar? I need three sheets of the stuff, approx. 5ft x 6ft.

It's really not for putting on the bed - honest!! ;)

Hello

Well, you want to put it somewhere OTHER than the bed. Wow, how perverted can you get?!

Steve.

try http://www.rbc-wholesale.co.uk/carbox/JVantislip.html

It's wholesale but they will be able to tell you where you can buy it retail

Thanks but that's where I got my original small mat, the sizes they do aren't really big enough (apart from being v. expensive) and they weren't even able to tell me where I can buy the stuff off the roll, what it's called, who makes it, or in fact anything remotely useful.

I've seen this stuff in my local B&Q warehouse (Slough) in the flooring & mats area. I think it was in 1m square pieces.

My Dad sells it in his ships' chandlery shop, it's used as non-slip on boat tables. I think he has it on a roll.

You could try a 'Lakeland Plastics' shop, (CREAM ONLY!) or apparently you can gte it in black at some car accesory shops!

ToeRag - any idea where he gets it from, and whether you can get it in large sizes, or on a roll? I need a piece about 18'x5' which I'll then cut into 3 pieces. Could he supply me directly?

Mark - thanks for that. I have fired off an email to them to see if they can help.

Go to a caravan dealers.
This stuff is used as flooring in some awnings.
We sell it in HUUUUUGE sheets for not much dollar.
