these results were for the MY98 cars. I have a MY98 car (R reg), and submitted a form for this years poll.

Don't forget us MY97 owners with R reg cars!!!

Tried calling for a form, but the phone number was constantly engaged!!!

Has anyone else noticed how TG only feature Scoobs annually, i.e. at JD power time. I wouldn't mind if it was sh*** but the public are telling them they're great, as we all know.

It really gets up my nose how snobbish the Beeb can be. If it had a BMW badge on it's bonnet it would be on the telly every week.

I suspect the Impreza lost out on Fuel Economy. Fuel prices have shot up over the last year making it more expensive to run the car. Thus the Impreza slipping down the list to #2 has nothing to do with how good the car is, more how thieving the government has been over the past year. I expect to see the Impreza slip further down as our fuel prices reach parity with that of Platinum.

I've noticed this as well. The last time they had an Impreza on the show (except for JD Power) was years ago. In fact when they announced the top two, the film they showed of an Impreza was Tiffany Dell testing the Series McRae I think about 4 years ago. Considering how highly the audience obviously rate it, it deserves more exposure than this.

How about an STi or a P1 on the show?

As you say though, there just seems to be an endless sucession of BMWs. Yawn.
