Ive posted in AV forums but you only get about 3 pople in there at once so I thought I'd ask your opinions as well.
Budget of £250, looked at an entry level Sony with SAcd but after reading reviews thought I'd be better off buying a 2 year old high end model Sony QS range (obviously heavily discounted on original price, all reviews point to better quality picture and sound with a more expensive high end model. Your thoughts?? |
Sony dvp ns900v....cost me £430 last year, now old model,i've seen it for around £250ish recently, bargain imo.Fantastic pic quality and great for music as well.
HERE for 250 region 2. I AM NOT RECCOMENDING THIS SITE,IT WAS THE RESULT OF A QUICK SEARCH Mine plays vcds/svcds/dvd-r also. |
FWIW...
I was in my local SuperFi last weekend after a DVD player (amongst other things). I asked about a Sony DVD they had on offer on their website and the guy said it's not the best choice if you're into multi-region or burn your own DVDs. |
Chris........i can only say my Sony is multiregion and plays vcd/svcd and dvd-r's (burnt by me) on bulkpaq 1x costing me 50p each,no problem:) |
CAUTION This is advice from a Liverpool fan to a Manc fan  :D.. |
Cheers guys
Im off to look at one now hopefully its MR, Chris what were superfi asking for theirs?? Dave |
LOL at SS :D:D
Dont worry I would'nt even consider asking you for advice on footy ;) especially the state your club's in and not until you have sold Heskey :p cue Ash1 for retaliation of the bitter kind :D |
Interesting SS. They sold Sony stuff, so not like they were going to lose a sale if that's what I wanted.
I ended up with a Yamaha that was reduced down to £99 :D |
I just got one of these as my Sony 735 won't play some of my recorded dvd's.
Cheap as chips and plays mp3 too. Some time in the future I may get another high end dvd player but not just yet ... |
