All i can say is what an absolute bag of w*nk. I managed to pair my Sony T68i and Sony headset together. Great - no problem I thought.

THEN I tried to use the DLink BT-120 usb bluetooth with the T68 and my laptop. Couldnt get it to work at all. Got them paired but what use is that when the 'kin software doesnt let you copy down the data from you phone. Spent hours trying this but couldnt get it to work at all.

All I wanted to do was download my address book from the t68.

Anyone else had enough of this crap technology ?

If you've got your T68 and Laptop paired why can't you just send all your contacts from the T68 to the Laptop

Phone Book -> Advanced -> Send All -> Via Bluetooth

This method has worked for me sending via BT between T68 and Palm and PocketPC devices.

Nothing wrong with the technology, just the software your trying to use

Estato forums are well up on their Ericssons so they may be able to help. I presume you're using the XTND software from Sony Ericcson's connectivity page in order to sync to Outlook?

Indeed thats the s/w im using. I think I may need a newer firmware on the phone because it works for my mate and the only thing different is that he has a later model/rev t68. I will try and let you know what happens.

As for the advanced bit etc, couldnt find it on my phone so knowing my luck ive got a pre production model ;)
