Travelling to forfar the other day within the speed limits with Jools i got several pings on the radar detector from small cream coloured boxes about 1' square fixed to road signs. I am assuming these are there to monitor and record average vechile speeds..Anyone have any infomation (they were down around the stonehaven area but have seen them nearer aberdeen in the past)
Never heard of them before. I will be going down that way early sat. to Knockhill, I will see if my Bell 550 picks anything up.
Martin. |
Im going down on the bike as well police will no doubt be out in force
I'm too soft, I'm going in the car on Saturday but the bike is polished ready for Sunday come rain or shine.
I will try Glenshee coming home its a road that keeps you on your toes but the Old Bill will be on that road on Sunday with their new Lazer thingy I'm sure. Who sells lazer jammers ???????????????????/ |
I bought my lazer jammer from Checkpoint in Aberdeen, had it for over 3 years but never fitted it yet...
Its probably old technology now. How much was it?
think was couple hundred quid at the time
I think I'll check out the net. to see whats available.
Right I'm off out to scrape the ice off the car and give it a wash. Cheers Martin. |
Two cream coloured boxes south of Stonehaven certainly made an impression on the 550.
dont they just , makes you ease off the gas..
Two more on the Braemar road near the Glider club air field. They give a strong read out like a gatso. yes you do tend to ease off a bit.
