Took the trusty old 200SX s14a in to have it brakes changed - 1hr job while I wait - at my usual Nissan Dealership.
350z on the forecourt (one they imported themselves) 'Gis a go Mister' He who dares Rodders, he who dares..... Got myself a drive of a 350z with aftermarket pipes!!! 45minutes round the backroads near Guildford Verdict? 5 Star triple A plus toptastic motor!!!!!! Good bits: Styling Engine note steering response Brakes chassis feedback interior styling instruments Extremely driftable without the traction control on!! Bad bits very noisy inside overly stiff for british roads very 'edgy' handling on the limit - got the impression it'd swap ends faster than a mark 1 capri. Not a car to take liberties in, and felt very inforgiving, especially after the 200SX S14a Very linear power delivery - could do with some cam-iness awkward 6 spd box - strange gate layout, but would get used to it. Worth £27,000? You bloody bet!!!! stupidly cheap for what it is, how its built, and how it goes. Makes Porsche, TVR, Audi and BMW seem horribly overpriced! Mate has one on order. Not too keen on the styling myself or some of the dash design, prefer the RX8.

Bishops Nissan in Guildford
Don't tell I sent you! I only got a go cos my company 200sx is serviced there - 6000mile intervals and the damm thing is down there once a month! |
i've got a mate that works down there on parts, might see if i can sort out a test drive then. Don't worry i won't mention where i heard they had one
|
Its quite common knowledge ;) don't worry!

If it was an import then it would have the jap suspension setup i guess?
Maybe the UK version will be more suited to UK roads....... |
I dont think any car manufacturer has developed a suspension set up suited to UK roads:)
OK, maybe the guy (whose name escapes me) that invented the hovercraft is in with a shout. |
