sorry to fit

up to 50 quid from a dealer or 2 pints for a mate with a bit of savvy for the HU. Its not a long job for the head unit, but the sat nav will be more as the speed pulse wire, the reversing light should be wired up, and the gps antenna mounted somewhere

I might be interested in your original fit head unit if it's the same as the one fitted in my MY01 bug eye. (CD/TAPE/RADIO).

My CD skips every time I go over a slight bump in the road.
Was toying with the idea of adding a changer but this might be a better option.

Graham.

Piece of **** to fit matey :D

Get the blank panel or pocket from Subaru, wiring loom from Autoleads and that'll cost you 22.70-ish. Fitting takes 20 minutes even if you've never done it before.

Get a mate who has installed a head unit to help as that always gives you the confidence to start the job.

Instructions are in the FAQ :)

Cheers,
Nick.
PS - 50 quid including parts is absolute max to pay given the simplicity of the job
PPS - search for single din conversion in this forum for pics and subaru part numbers :)
