Both run simultaneously... (same files scanned)

Ad-aware.... that pulled out 2 spyware files....

or Bullet-proof Spyware remover... that pulled out 782 files!!! (granted that 95% are normal Cookies)

How did Ad-aware miss Gator???? And before anyone says... I've not added anything to any "ignore" list.

No one else use Ad-aware??

I personally think this in interesting - a program that is "trusted" by so many, has also missed glaring files.

I've been using Spybot Search & Destory. Seems pretty effective :D

Interesting that the program you are suggesting says that Bulletproof.com have stolen their spyware database.

<quote>You have AdAware installed.
If you have the AdAware option to scan inside archives enabled, AdAware may find files in the Spybot-S&D folder. Spybot-S&D does not contain any spyware, but it creates backups of everything you fix (until you remove those backups from the Recovery list), and AdAware complains about these backups. You can safely ignore these backups found by AdAware.

You have Spyware Remover from BulletProof Software installed.
Spyware Remover is a copyright infringement, using a stolen copy of the Spybot-S&D database.
Please do NOT use BPS Spyware Remover!</quote>
