I got a 13.5 (incl. reaction time) but with a disasterously 'boggy' start and awful 2nd to 3ed gear change (hit rev limiter and lost all boost!)! Reasonably happy for my first time though.

Yes, I was in an R33. With some more practice I think I should get a low 12 run out of it at present level of tune. We'll see. Keith had problems with the gear box. I think there's a thread on this site where he explains what happened.

The gear box problem muat have been a total pain occurring on your first run although it's probably better getting all teething problems out of the as soon as possible before TOTB. Keep me updated on your progress with the car. And I forgot to ask, did you get into PE's okay that night with Rob a few weeks ago? I had contacted the owner but not sure if he had then informed the doorstaff.

Bad news Keith :( Hope you get it sorted ok. If it's Hollinger gears in the HKS then the gears are available individually and they keep a lot in stock. Might be an opportunity to look at the ratios, if it's a 1/4 mile car the gearing may be a bit short for TOTB ?

I thought Calders Supra was a weapon and a half :eek: struggled for traction till mid track (even on slicks) then took off !!! 12.something didn't show its potential, 129mph terminal did !!

and andy f that works out under 12 secs 129 terminal speed thats a beast mate

it not my fastest to date.... managed a 12.8 before..... BUT the 12.9 was 2up ..... so i was disapointed i didnt try just 1up...... didnt go there thinking i was gona run a decent time :( shame.... was just too busy to even bother looking at my times
