My car which is a MY00 and other people's MY99/00s, here in Greece and people on Scoobynet, on cold start work at 1500rpm and drop to 750/800rpm. This is normal. This is with a stock ECU.

Now I have a Tek 3 and it still idles the same.

Your idling is normal now.

Cheers,

Wrexy.

Before the Tek-2 remap, my car would always idle (starting from cold) at 1,200 rpm. After warming this would then settle to 800 rpm. After the Tek-2 remap, it starts at 1,500 rpm - before returning to 800 rpm when warm. Why is this?

I've got no reason to think there's a problem - I'm just curious why it would have increased the idle rate. Car's a UK MY00 Turbo, full decat + ITG.

Cheers...
Ben
